DEBIT AND CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
There are no charges for credit/debit cards. All payments are made via Paypal and we do not store any of your payment details.
CHILDCARE VOUCHERS & TAX-FREE CHILDCARE
Please allow up to 5-7 working days for Childcare Vouchers to reach us and use your Booking ID and child’s name as a reference. Voucher payments must reach us before the first booked date, any unpaid bookings are not secure and may be cancelled.
All bookings under our payment plan system must be settled in full 7 days prior to the first booked date. Failure to do so could result in the booking being cancelled.
Your booking confirmation confirms what you have booked. Please check it, including dates, location and child details. Responsibility for all booking details lies with the person who made the booking. If your confirmation is not what you expected or incorrect, please email or call us immediately.
You will only receive credit for cancellations if you have taken out our Flexi Booking Care. Without this you will not receive credit for any part of your payment under any circumstances. Where the full balance has not yet been paid or part of a booking is cancelled, the deposit for this part will be retained and not used as part payment towards the remaining balance of this or other bookings.
We only offer credit for cancellations if our Flexi Booking Care cover is taken out at the time of booking. Cancellations must be made no later than 24hrs prior to the day in question. Our Flexi Booking Care only covers the booking reference in which the cover is attached to.
We do not offer refunds on any bookings made. Credit will only be offered when the booking is covered by our Flexi Booking Care.
We understand that as a parent your timetable is constantly changing. If you decide that you want to book more days for your child, you can do so anytime by visiting our website at www.megacamps.net to make a second booking. All of your bookings are available for viewing within your online account via the 'booking history' section.
As long as we have consent from you as a parent, we take photos of the daily highlights. These are then uploaded onto our social media pages on a regular basis for parents to see what their child is getting up to. If after making your booking this changes then you must inform the Camp Manager at registration on the day. Make sure you like our social media pages so you can view photos from future and past camps. Whilst we try our best to include all children we can’t guarantee that your child will be in the photos.
In order to maintain appropriate standards of health and safety, children with certain medical or physical conditions or those who cannot demonstrate the required skill competence may not be allowed to participate in some activities. In such cases we will always provide alternative activities.
At the time of booking, full and accurate information about the child’s DOB, medical, physical or behavioural needs, or any other additional needs, must be provided. Failure to do so may result in the child being excluded from certain activities. In some circumstances we may have to cancel the booking and no refund will be paid. All newcomers to Mega Camps are required to display a copy of their Birth Certificate along with any other parental responsibility documents. Without seeing these, we cannot accept children onto camp. All information given will be treated in complete confidence.
Mega Camp’s staff have a duty to respond if they suspect a child may be suffering from or makes a disclosure about abuse. In this event staff will contact the relevant local authority and act on their advice.
Mega Camps have a strict 1:8 ratio for children aged 4 & 5 years old. For children aged 6 to 14 years we operate a 1:12 minimum ratio.
Mega Camps reserves the right to exclude any child for any reason at its absolute discretion, including persistent late collection; we are only registered to have children on site until 6pm. No refund will be made for days missed and no compensation will be made for any other costs or losses incurred as a result. Late collection between 4pm and 6pm will be charged at a standard rate of £8 per child. Please note; where children are collected after 6pm we will automatically apply a ‘Late’ fee of £1 per minute to your account. This must be settled before the child can return to camp.
Mega Camps does not accept liability for personal injury or death of any person unless directly caused by the proven negligence of the company or its servants, in this event our liability insurance provides cover of up to £5 million. Mega Camps will not take responsibility for the loss or damage of any items of personal property brought onto the camp and neither the FBC nor our insurance covers personal items. Our Parent Guide contains further information about what should/not be brought to camp (including mobile phones) and details our Lost Property Policy.
Mega Camps operate a strict NO NUTS policy.
From time to time we may need to amend our activities, services, dates and venues for reasons within or outside our control. In these circumstances, parents may choose to transfer to another Mega Camps venue and/or alternative dates as advertised at that time by Mega Camps, subject to other conditions contained herein. Under no circumstances will there be a refund or compensation.
Mega Camps are committed to ensuring every child has such an amazing experience they can’t wait to come back. If you or your child are not entirely satisfied with the service we provide, then we want to be the first to know. If there’s a problem while your child is still at the camp we can almost always resolve it. We cannot change the situation after the event, so please talk to the Camp Manager promptly if you have any concerns or complaints. If your child is still at camp and the problem persists please contact our Head Office Team. If the problem is still not resolved, please write to our Head Office within 7days of your child’s last day with us. You can be assured that all complaints will be taken very seriously. Please note we aim to respond to all emails and social media messages within 48hrs.
Refunds and compensation will only be made if Mega Camps is proven to have been in breach of these terms and conditions, and it is proven further that they were not capable of remedying that breach and as a result the child was withdrawn from the camp. Please note: verbal abuse of office or camp staff will not be tolerated and bookings cancelled with immediate effect.
Children attending the Mega Camps’ Holiday programme with connections to Blenheim High School
Including any of the following:
- A child who currently attends Blenheim High School
- A child who has an older sibling currently attending Blenheim High School
- A child who has a parent who is a member of staff at Blenheim High School
- A child currently in year 6 who has accepted a place in year 7 at Blenheim High School from September 2020
- A child who has an older sibling who has accepted a place in year 7 at Blenheim High School from September 2020
If a member of Mega Camps’ staff, your child, or a child placed within your child’s ‘Bubble Group’, tests positive for Coronavirus (Covid-19) during their placement at Mega Camps Holiday programme, they will not be permitted to enter the Blenheim High School setting until they have followed a 14 day period of self-isolation. This includes the weeks preceding the Mega Camps Holiday Programme up to and including Sunday 13th September 2020.
